Food
I am difficult to please and so am forced to write that I have just had the best fish and chips in a very very long time! Very well served by A cheerful waitress called Amanda. It is too easy to reserve our comments on trip adviser to record bad experiences. This one deserves recording as a very good experience.

Excellent atmosphere/food at quiet village pub
Quiet pub with fantastic indoor dining ambiance and large garden. Friendly and personable staff serving delicious food ranging from perfected pub classic such as beer battered haddock, to more individual dishes like the risotto and goats cheese & pesto pasta. Good value, great for families. Tip your waitress, try the veal.

Family get together of 7
Oozes all fresh produce with every dish freshly cooked / prepared. Chef is clearly uncompromising with all ingredients and standards for all courses (starter main & pudding) which impressed. High standards rank with the very best without being pretentious. Atmosphere is very relaxed with friendly staff who are not intrusive. Good value wines are also helpful.

Lovely evening with good service and good food
My husband and I dined here last night and it was lovely. The venue itself is very nice in a lovely quaint location. the service was very attentive and they didn't even mind all the excessive questions I asked about the menu. I was surprised at the size of the portions as I thought from previous reviews they might not be very big and they were. I had the mussels to start and that was a huge portion in itself. I then had the lamb which was really nice but slightly to much. My husband had the ox tail to start and the pork belly for main and once again both a decent size and tasted lovely as rated by us both. After all that food only my husband could manage the desserts and had the trifle and enjoyed it but did feel very blotted after all of that food. I thought the whole dining experience was very good and would recommend and not overly pricey.

Delightful!
We loved our dinner here. The food was excellent, not typical pub fare at all. I wish I could remember exactly what I ordered but was so busy chatting I have forgotten. All I can say is that I know I ordered soup and an appie and both were delicious. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant in Biddenham, Bedford.

TOTAL EXCELLENCE!!!!
We visited this delightful pub for lunch when we moved to the area. We were pleasantly greeted by the staff and shown quickly to our table. The menu was pure heaven and took us some time to choose. The waitress was very helpful and patient with us. The atmosphere is friendly and the food was out of this world , the chef should be in a top London restaurant. Although the pub was busy we didn't have to wait long for our meal and the deserts were mouthwatering. We will definitely recommend this pub to friends and can't wait for a return visit.

Very good in all aspects
We had two meals here this weekend, couples meal Saturday night and Sunday lunch with the kids..... Both experiences exceptional. The menu is very creative if a little limited, however as a fussy eater with wheat a intolorence i can say that the chef will go above and beyond to adjust a dish to suite your taste or needs. We have eaten before with this chef and been impressed but with the new restaurant now open they seem to have pushed up another gear in quality and all round experience. Waiting staff are very good, personal but not in your face. I expect to see this place in the good food guide before long. The head chef is clearly talented but also well grounded as the menu is unpretentious and the portion sizes create good value of what could appear to be high prices.

Home cooked food with a great ambience
We were a party of 8 enjoying a Sunday lunch at the The Three Tuns, our friends live in the village so it was most convenient. Coming from South Africa we just loved the ambience of an English pub. Menu was not extensive but there was sufficient choices available for all. We did not have starters but I felt the prices at around £6.50 seemed reasonable . Main course I had the Angus Aberdeen Beef with roast potato and vegetables, at £11.95 this too I felt was reasonable. Service was pretty reasonable although the second round of drinks took a long time to arrive. Quality of food was excellent, service reasonable, ambience great and can certainly recommend The Three Tuns for a most enjoyable meal.

Stunning Food, Excellent Service
We've recently moved in to the village and have been to The Three Tuns on several occasions. For my partners birthday, we booked a table for 12 on Saturday night. The whole evening was thoroughly enjoyable. Whilst the food was excellent and very tasty, the service received was only what I can describe as "above and beyond". Nothing was too much trouble ... late changes to orders, ordering dishes not on the menu, even making a 7 year old more comfortable who was a little worn out at the end of the day. I cannot recommend The Three Tuns highly enough. Quality food. Friendly, outstanding service.
